Menopause is a natural stage of life which every woman has to face either willingly or unwillingly. It can also be said that Menopause is the guest without invitation. It usually strikes a woman’s life between the age of 50-55. This is an ideal time for Menopause. This phase in the woman’s life is the most difficult phase because many changes happen in her body where she has to fight with these changes from inside and also outside with the world.

Many different feeling surrounds a woman in this time, such as she gets irritated, mood swings, irregular periods, Hot flashes, chills, vaginal dryness, night sweats, sleep problems and this is because of hormonal imbalance, her body experiences stress and there is adrenal exhaustion. She also faces a menstrual problem such as heavy flow, light flow or even sometimes no flow, this is the worst thing a woman can experience. This is the time where she needs love, affection, attention and also warmth that someone understands her.  These make me feel a bit bitter as this natural phenomenon is been seen differently in two different parts of the world.  In western countries, Menopause is been seen as a disease on the opposite side in eastern countries (Asian countries) Menopause is been treated as a phase towards wisdom.

In Eastern countries such as India, China and many more, Menopause is been considered as a natural process, an age of wisdom.  Thus in these places, women are given importance and also there is no problem for the women to talk about their condition to doctors or family to get their support.  Women need more support mentally rather than physically. Thus this type of climate makes easy for women to cope up with their body changes.

It does not matter whether the women are from the eastern part of the western part of the World, she has to suffer the same symptoms and have to fight herself during this time.
